Saya Tak berani Tolong.
I was watching the news on a local network when the sad tragedy of a responsible citizen who lost his life to a snatch thief.
The news team went around asking the public whether after the incident they would consider helping if the crime is happening in front of them.
One middle-aged man was interviewed and said that he is not willing to help, in fear of his safety.
In his justice, of course an attempt to catch the proprietor should always be left to a professional. We the weak citizens is of course not trained to handle crimes, so of course the man is right not to help. Right?
It's quite depressing when someone snatches the freedom that we work so hard for. The IC, the bankcards, the driving license the thing we keep in our wallet. Imagine now if that freedom is snatched away. Nobody helps anybody, of course because they fear death.
So the already not so safe streets have now welcomed a new friend, fear. So fear and crime roamed the streets snatching handbags and jewelry, since of course who would actually help fight them. The police are doing all they can but of course they cant be everywhere right?
Imagine the streets is open to muggers, rapist and what not roaming freely only to fear the police. We after all fear crime and we fear criminals, too much fear that we do not offer help to victim.
Nobody helps anybody, of course because they fear death.
Is this what we have become? Cowards?
Criminals like snatch thieves will only go away if we help each other out in the time of need. As much as I fear for my life I also fear if the crime would happen to any of my family members too. So it is our responsibility to help, it's a responsibility for all, young and old.
I would rather die then let anybody snatch my freedom.
May God bless those fighting selflessly(thanks silencers!) for the freedom that a lot of us have unfortunately forgotten.

Where did all the good Policemen go?
With crime is again rearing its ugly head.
We again ask "Mana polis ni?"
Which is kinda funny, as I was going home from classes a few weeks ago there was a roadblock in Federal Highway.
I was thinking I was ready for the roadblock, after all my license is only due on August, My road tax is due for a renewal at the end of this month and my bike is all within it's specs.
Unfortunately, my backlight blew and I did not notice that. So there goes at least RM50 on what could have been a RM2 replacement of the bulb.
"betul Bang sungguh ni saya tak perasan lampu belakang blow, sungguh tak tipu semua saya ada nak tipu buat aper?"
I was issued a "saman" anyway. Dang.
What got me a bit confused though was why was so many police personnel assigned to this roadblock? Imagine at a glance I counted at least 10 policemen taking summons and inspecting as a bunch of motorcycle that goes by. 10? And the best thing is the Car Lane in front of me is crawling to the bone.
Isn’t it a few months ago we were awaken how many snatch crimes is running rampant in the Klang Valley? Not to mention the killings, rapes and all sort of crimes.Isn’t it also this year there were a lot of hoo-hah about the small ratio of police force in the country? To be honest I see more traffic police on the field doing their work then the common blue-dressed policemen walking the streets.Which is unfortunate, I guess to have a policeman in each corner of everywhere is impossible but 10 traffic policemen checking kapchais is somewhat mismanaging resources?
I say why not enlist some of the traffic police into the crime unit to handle the rising rate of heavy crimes. If they can spare this much of personnel on a minor roadblock then might as well lend some of them into the blue-dressed units.
It's quite illogical that we are so effective in catching traffic offenders when the "pecah rumah" crimes are rampant and a norm.
Maybe the whole problem is not the police not doing their job, a good look at the force's distribution and allocation in each department could help reduce crime.
just my 2 sen.

Disgusting Men.
I was waiting for the Elevator an adult male beside me farted (you know the eaten too much fart) and pretended nothing happened.
At one of my favourite restaurant, an adult male who is also a father and a husband gobbled food like there is no tomorrow and burp at the end of it loudly while rubbing his tummy.

Guys in Tight Tshirts...
I know I'm fat. I don't have juicy muscles and all.
I however think the Gym/ Muscle mutant freaky men who wear extremely tight is kinda disgusting. You know the tight almost suffocating t-shirts that resembles baby tee's?
I asked a few girls before they have confirmed that guys do look yucky in tight t-shirts.
Could this be some sort of a sexuality siren? The "hey I'm ready for sex baby"?
Maybe it looks yucky, but it helps I guess. No ad no business eh?
I have to stay away from tight t-shirts though, the pot belly would eventually overshadow my good looks ;-D

They are winners already.
I spent the weekend trying to decide which team to root for during the Euro Final.
Personally I like Portugal and personally think the combination of Deco, Figo and C.Ronaldo is among the better partnerships in the tournanment. They gave their best and the final spot is deservingly theirs. Despite the lack of mention even though they won the QF against England, they have proven that good teamwork means good football. I don't know what's the deal with Rooney, as I think Ronaldo is far a better and thoughtful player to have a the mania tagline.
But, Greece. What can I say they put "The Beautiful Game" back in soccer. High spirited and highly competitive they have been a good package the whole way. I spent the Friday sulking due to the foolish move of putting all the Czech player in my Fantasy team to only see them fail in semis.
Both teams are worthy winners already and heroes for their country, win or lose is not important now.
Bravo Portugal and Greece, you are worthy European champions.
