New Years Out - Skip that next beer?
or Coke and Lime, or Whiskey, or Margherita or anything that you planning to gulp down this New Year Eve.
With the national level New Year celebration being called off, Night Clubs and pub will definitely be filled to the brim with people celebrating the night away if that is not the case then most probably you'll be spending time on BBQ or a small party in your house. I guess that is allright you deserve to party the night away afterall the year has been tough and waving it off is definitely anticipated. I hope you have good fun.
I decide to skip the usual clubbing scene this year and donate the money I expected to spend for tonight to the tragedy. It's not much but I hope it helps a little.
As I'm writing this the death toll has passed 100,000.
Well the thing is you know when partying we seem to order or buy more drinks to wash the night away? Yeah, I'm begging you that this time around rather than paying for that extra drink why don't you give the money away to help out the Tsunami and Earthquake victims?
By all means don't stop celebrating on my account, just help give that small share away. That is all. Heck it might even save you from a hangover the next day! ;)
Every ringgit/dollar counts.
I believe bloggers (Malaysia, Globally) have been blogging about the tragedy and putting up links on how people would be a able to donate.
Therefore there is no need to mention the suffering this people is enduring and what will happen to them in the days to come. However I'll put up donation links for your convenience.
Donation can be made through:-
