Zouk on this particular Thursday was packed to the brimmed. 24th November was liked a special date or something, for a person who likes to go out club regularly have not seen this much of people since O*range was the happening place.
As I was going in queuing trying to go in (I tell ya'it was like queuing going into the Linkin Park concert) the DBKL guy came out from nowhere asking the bouncer to close the gate. I did a 180 and tried to make my way out. Of course realising that the enforcement is coming in everybody panicked and the situation got a little bit bad.
I manage to get out of the queue early but many that have already been inside had to push their way out ringing panic bells with people shouting and all.
Very bad scene.
The RELA guys (volunteers, do with have to bring in volunteers to raid a disco in the first place) lockdown the Zouk compound. So nobody could go out even if they do not want to go in altogether. Oh well so I was stuck.
A guy ran panicking, and was caught by RELA and was slapped. Oh my. I saw few foreigners panicked, if I were in a foreign country and saw people in green uniforms locking down the disco compound I would panic too. They were saying how could this have happen how come we were treated so badly.
So people say if the Police guy does not like you. You would end up in the police station getting hold up the whole night and would likely miss your work, or studies tomorrow. Guilty or not guilty. I think that is why people panic in the first place.
After a while RELA opened up the gates letting people go. Of course in every other means gave a free experience on how real mean ultra criminals would feel.
So the street were littered with fun loving criminals looking at how Thursday was wasted and how they manage to see RELA panicked at handling the crowd, slapped a boy and shouted at everybody.
It was a bad night in Malaysia.
On other things, this could be
another reason people panic these days.
I think enforcers need an overhaul here in Malaysia.
